Initial Assessment

Our team will conduct a comprehensive evaluation of your child, initially observing them during play to understand how they move and the quality of their movements as well as assessing, their postural alignment, spine, strengths and challenges. The assessment will also cover areas such as, muscle tone, joint range of movement, muscle strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.  This will be tailored to your child’s age and specific needs. To ensure an enjoyable experience, we incorporate playful activities and games into the assessment where able.

For comfort during the assessment, we recommend that your child wears something loose and comfortable.  Also we request that you bring any orthotics that your child may wear.
