Andreea

Physiotherapist

Andreea

Andreea qualified as a Physiotherapist in 2015 at the University of Physical Education and Mountain Sports in Brasov, Romania.  From the outset Andreea was totally committed to her field carrying out extensive voluntary work alongside her studies. Her hands-on experience in various clinics provided her with a comprehensive understanding of diverse patient needs and the specialized approaches required for both adults and children.

Motivated by her work with adults suffering from neurological conditions, Andreea observed that early intervention could significantly improve management of spine deformities and limb contractures. This insight led her to specialize in paediatrics, aiming to make the most profound impact on her patients’ lives from childhood through to adulthood.  She has a special interest in orthotic management and quality, spine deformities and neuromuscular management.

Andreea prioritizes establishing a connection with the child and their family during initial sessions, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment. Her keen observation skills allow her to understand each child’s preferences and communication style, even if non-verbal, enabling her to customize therapy to each individual’s needs.

Our son Hamdan’s, journey with Andreea as his physiotherapist has been truly extraordinary so far. Hamdan has been seeing Andreea since 2020 and she has been an integral part of his progress, and we are so happy with the outcomes so far. Andreea is incredibly patient, caring and always goes extra mile to engage with his surgeon and NHS physio to give the best treatment to Hamdan and follow up with them to keep all in the loop. She has a wonderful way of engaging with Hamdan and making the sessions feel like playtime. Thanks to her expertise and guidance, Hamdan’s mobility and strength has made a solid improvement over the years. We feel blessed to have Andreea as Hamdan’s physiotherapist, guiding him every step of the way.

Her unwavering dedication has meant Seb and Andreea have a wonderful connection, which shows in his continued progress. We’re incredibly fortunate to have Andreea as Seb’s physio.
