Aoibheann

Physiotherapist

Aoibheann

Aoibheann qualified as a Physiotherapist in 2023 at Coventry University.

Aoibheann became interested in Physiotherapy via her sports background and began to look at the wider range of specialist treatment offered. She has a natural affinity with children which led her to take up a work experience placement with KPL opening her eyes to paediatric physiotherapy and led her to becoming a qualified Physiotherapist.

Aoibheann believes in the power of play as a therapeutic tool and starts her sessions by engaging children in playful activities. This not only helps to settle the child but also allows her to communicate effectively with parents about their child’s history. Her passion for helping children develop in a fun and exciting way has made her a favourite among KPL’s young patients.

Aoibheann has a special interest in hydrotherapy for the physiological benefits it offers to maximise progress in her patients as well as musculo-skeletal sports injuries.

I have been working with KPL for a very long time, all the KPL team are absolutely fantastic. In particular, Aoibheann has been very supportive and helpful in helping me achieve my mobility goals and overcoming my mobility challenges with cerebral palsy.

I am very pleased with the great work that Aoibheann, has done with my son David. Besides her great professional skills, she is very good at connecting and empathising with David making the therapies sessions more enjoyable and interactive. We would like to thank Aiobheann for her amazing support and dedication toward improving my son's condition.
