Donna Nicol

Founder and Clinical Director

Donna Nicol

As the founder of Kids Physio London, Donna has over 30 years of specialized experience, offering expert paediatric physiotherapy services for babies right through to young adults – often with complex needs. Her approach is rooted in early intervention and a holistic methodology, ensuring that every child or young person is empowered to achieve their fullest potential through evidence-based practices, underpinned by supporting our families to confidently carry out exercise programmes at home to optimise outcomes.

Donna’s professional journey has been enriched by significant roles in both the NHS and prestigious private institutions like Holly House and The Portland Hospital for Women and Children. In 2007, she embraced the entrepreneurial spirit and began offering independent services, which led to the establishment of her own practice in 2011. This venture was driven by a commitment to provide personalized, high-quality physiotherapy care directly to families.

With a strong track record of collaborating with case management companies for litigation purposes, designing comprehensive care packages, and providing insightful advice on the current and future physiotherapy needs of children with neurological dysfunction, her passion for aquatic physiotherapy has allowed her to offer unique treatment sessions to help complement land sessions, highlighting her dedication to innovative care methods.

Donna also has a special interest in orthotics and works collaboratively with Progettiamo Autonomia – who produce compression garments supplied by Flexa UK of which she is Director and an accredited practitioner.

Donna is dedicated to maintaining the highest standard of care at Kids Physio London by utilizing cutting-edge techniques and equipment in paediatric physiotherapy. She motivates her team to engage in a wide variety of continuing professional development (CPD) training. This commitment ensures that the clinic provides a comprehensive range of treatments and care options to meet the diverse needs of its patients.

As Kids Physio London has flourished, Donna has expanded the team to include Associate Physiotherapists and Physiotherapy Assistants, enhancing the breadth and depth of our services and setting the stage for children to reach their maximum potential in a supportive and advanced therapeutic environment.

My son has cerebral palsy and has been receiving physiotherapy at kids physio clinic for 6years. Our experience has been nothing but phenomenal as the team has assessed him to create a personalised approach to his therapeutic needs specifically. They have helped to maintain his posture as they are quick to notice any deterioration and troubleshoot the problem. They are very passionate about their roles and this can be seen in their efforts at every session. I am always singing their praises and would highly recommend.

Donna has been our son's physiotherapist for nearly four years. Her sessions are engaging and fun; exactly what a child needs to be motivated and not see therapy as a chore. He trusts her implicitly and has made great progress. Donna's expertise and support are invaluable.
