Helin

Helin qualified as a Physiotherapist in 2024 from the University of East Anglia. Her passion for physiotherapy began at a young age after experiencing its benefits firsthand during her own recovery from an injury. Prior to joining KPL, Helin gained valuable experience through a variety of clinical placements across both NHS and private practice settings.

Helin has always had a strong interest in working with children, and her student placement at KPL deepened her enthusiasm for paediatric physiotherapy.

Known for her warm and friendly approach, Helin strives to create a comfortable and engaging environment where children feel at ease and empowered to reach their full potential. She begins each session by discussing goals and expectations with both the child and their parents, ensuring care is tailored to the individual. Her calm, playful style encourages active participation, helping children stay motivated and make meaningful progress. This approach not only supports physical development but also positively influences social interaction and cognitive growth.

Mickey was 14 and had ongoing spinal issues and muscle weakness when we brought him into Kids Physio. He could barely walk more than a few paces and for several months had needed a wheelchair to get around. He could not even continue with school. We were so fortunate to have found Donna and Cristina. In the first session they designed a tailored programme for him, and a couple of months later he was moving around on his own and back in school. Our son hated doing his rehab exercises, but Cristina was very caring and engaging and made the sessions really fun. She was able to motivate him to get the best out of him. He looks forward to each session and now several months later he is pretty much back to full strength. We are so grateful to Cristina and the team for providing such wonderful care and support!

I am absolutely delighted to share my experience with Cristina at KPL. Her expertise and dedication have truly made a significant impact on my son’s physical well-being. With her guidance and tailored treatment plans, I've seen remarkable improvements in his mobility and overall health. Her compassionate approach and unwavering support have not only helped my son but also my partner and I. I wholeheartedly recommend Cristina to anyone seeking physiotherapy care
