Katherine

Katharine Qualified as a Physiotherapist from the University of East London in 2004.

Following Junior and Senior Rotations at UCLH from 2004-2007, Katharine commenced her Paediatric Physiotherapy career at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital where she was a Community Paediatric Physiotherapist for over 8 years. Katharine has worked at Great Ormond Street Hospital for children since 2016 as a Highly Specialist Physiotherapist within the Neurodisability team.

Katharine is experienced in assessing and treating children with Neuro-disabilities from ages 0-19 months. She specialises in the assessment and management of abnormal tone, in particular assessment for Botulinum Toxin, SDR and Neuro-orthopaedic presentations. 

Katharine joined KPL in September 2022 and in addition to her clinical work, she is passionate about supporting and developing the next generation of Paediatric Physiotherapists enjoying supervising, mentoring and teaching. 

Katharine’s kind and friendly approach ensures that children at ease during their sessions in order to reach their full potential.
